『ビルマ古典歌謡におけるジャンル形成』(2011)の英訳書。ビルマの古典歌謡について、膨大な貝葉を丹念に調査し、作品創作の技法とプロセスを分析することにより、ジャンル形成過程を明らかにする。 とくに,ビルマ音楽の父と呼ばれ、18〜19世紀に新しい調律方法を用いた創作を多く行ったウー・サに注目し,その創作活動がジャンル分化の端緒となったことを明らかにする.
